This is where you'll find them

Roman Bridge

Traditional rear bags are simple and effective, but different shooting positions can demand very different support heights.
That can mean changing bags, carrying several sizes or stacking bags to achieve the required position.

One Rest. Multiple Shooting Positions.

Adjustable

ADJUSTABLE
A broad elevation range provides the flexibility to accommodate different shooting positions and front supports.

Stable

STABLE
A substantial footprint creates a solid foundation beneath the rifle.

Precise & Repeatable

PRECISE & REPEATABLE
The large control wheel provides smooth, intuitive control of elevation.
Fine adjustment makes it easier to establish and return to a consistent shooting position.

Aimlok was created to offer another way.

Stop Stacking. Start Adjusting.

Aimlok replaces the need to repeatedly swap or stack conventional rear bags with a mechanically adjustable platform.
Place the rifle stock into the V-Rest and use the large control wheel to raise or lower the support.

Getting the correct rear support height shouldn't require a pile of different bags
Small adjustment required? Make a small adjustment.
Need considerably more elevation? Keep turning.
The tracked scissor mechanism smoothly changes the height of the rear support while the stability base maintains a substantial footprint underneath.

One support. One simple adjustment. A huge range of possibilities.

Fine Control at Your Fingertips
Adjustment that feels natural.

At the centre of Aimlok is a tracked scissor-lift mechanism engineered to be simple, smooth and reliable.
The large control wheel is deliberately positioned beneath the rifle stock, allowing elevation to be adjusted intuitively with the support hand while the shooting hand maintains control of the rifle.
Turn the control to raise the rear support.
Turn it in the opposite direction to lower it.
This fine mechanical adjustment helps the shooter establish the required elevation without continually rebuilding the rear support or completely resetting their position.

Simple engineering. Precise control.

Stability Starts at the Base

Fine adjustment is only useful when it comes from a stable foundation.
That's why Aimlok has been designed around a generous stability base.
Its large footprint provides a solid platform for the adjustment mechanism and rear rest, helping Aimlok remain stable throughout its working height range.
The stability base is fitted as standard and forms an important part of the Aimlok system.

A stable base. A supported stock. Precise adjustment between them.

Built for Different Disciplines

Aimlok wasn't designed around one particular type of shooter.
It was developed to make stable, adjustable rear support straightforward for a broad range of people and shooting disciplines.
That includes able-bodied shooters, disabled shooters, older shooters and younger shooters, from experienced target shooters to recreational users.

Aimlok can provide rear support across a variety of rifle shooting applications, including centre-fire, rimfire, black powder and air rifle shooting.
At the range, on the bench or used from a suitable hide or blind, the principle remains the same:

Stable support with simple, precise adjustment.

Designed in the UK. Manufactured in the UK.

Aimlok is a British-designed and British-manufactured product.
Its construction combines stainless-steel and carbon-steel components, finished with a durable powder coating for corrosion resistance and long-term use.
Some materials and components are UK sourced, with others sourced internationally, before the finished Aimlok is manufactured in the UK.
It has been designed as a practical piece of shooting equipment that's made to be used—not left at home.

Big When You Need It. Compact When You Don't.

Despite its substantial working range and stable footprint, Aimlok packs down into a compact unit for transportation and storage.

Take it to the range, shooting bench, hide or wherever your shooting takes you.

TARGET SHOOTING

Fine elevation adjustment helps establish a stable and repeatable shooting position.

ZEROING

Make controlled adjustments to the rear support while establishing your point of aim.

RECREATIONAL SHOOTING

Straightforward, intuitive operation without needing a collection of different rear bags.

HIDE & BLIND USE

ACCESSIBLE SHOOTING

An adjustable rear support capable of adapting to different shooting positions.

Designed as a versatile rear support rather than for one specific rifle type or shooting discipline.

Intuitive mechanical adjustment can make precise rear-support positioning accessible to shooters across a broad range of ages and physical abilities.

Aimlok vs Conventional Rear Bags

A fixed bag naturally provides a limited support height.
Different shooting positions can therefore require different bags or additional bags stacked together.
Changing the required height can mean changing the support arrangement and establishing the position again.

One mechanically adjustable rear support provides a broad range of usable heights.
Fine adjustment is available throughout the range using a large, intuitive control wheel.
The substantial stability base provides a consistent foundation beneath the adjustment mechanism.
The result is a single adaptable system designed to cover situations that might otherwise require several different rear-support arrangements.

FAQ'S

What is Aimlok?

Aimlok is a mechanically adjustable rear rifle support. Instead of relying on a fixed-height rear bag, its scissor-lift mechanism allows the height of the rear support to be adjusted using a large control wheel.

Does Aimlok replace a conventional rear bag?

That is one of its principal purposes. Aimlok was developed to provide a wide range of support heights from a single unit, reducing the need to use several different-height rear bags or stack bags to achieve the desired position.

Is the height continuously adjustable?

Yes. Aimlok provides fine adjustment between its minimum and maximum positions rather than limiting the shooter to a small number of predetermined height settings.

How do I adjust it?

With the rifle safely supported and controlled, the large adjustment wheel beneath the stock is rotated to raise or lower the V-Rest.

What rifle stocks will fit the V-Rest?

The standard V-shaped channel has been designed around common stock widths and is intended to accommodate many traditional wooden stocks as well as a range of modern chassis systems.

Can the V-Rest be removed?

Yes. The padded V-Rest is removable. This also allows the Aimlok platform to accommodate alternative rest designs that may be developed for more specialised applications in the future.

Can Aimlok be used with a bipod?

Yes. Aimlok is suitable for use with short and tall bipods as well as most other front shooting supports.

Is Aimlok only for target shooters?

No. It has been developed for a variety of shooting disciplines and users, including target and recreational shooters and applications such as range shooting, zeroing and appropriate field use.

Is it suitable for disabled shooters?

Aimlok has deliberately been designed with accessibility in mind and is intended for both able-bodied and disabled shooters, as well as shooters across different age groups and experience levels. Individual suitability will naturally depend upon the shooter's requirements.

Where is Aimlok made?

Aimlok is designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, using a combination of UK-sourced and internationally sourced materials/components.

How much does Aimlok weigh?

Approximately 920 g including its heavy-duty drawstring storage bag.

How should I look after it?

After use in wet conditions, remove Aimlok from its storage bag and allow it to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Moving joints and pivot points should periodically receive a light application of suitable oil, and the V-Rest fabric and stitching should be inspected periodically.
